Truck Driving Jobs with Employment Benefits
Pay is only one of many factors truck drivers search for when looking for truck driving jobs. Drivers search for a good working environment, great work-life balance, and employment benefits that allows you to take care of yourself and the ones who depend on you.
Dick Lavy Trucking provides some of the best employment benefits in the industry. We believe family is most important and we give our drivers the benefits necessary to make that happen. Our family-like culture allows us to get to know each one of our drivers individually – no one is ever just a name on a payroll sheet.
Incentive to Apply
Any employee who refers a driver who joins our team gets a bonus of $1,200, so drivers can continue to earn bonuses simply by recommending reliable, experienced friends.
Unlike some truck driving jobs, we pay our drivers during orientation, allowing you to learn while earning a salary. We also provide travel reimbursements of up to $250 and an E-Z Pass to get you through tolls. Our routes are 98 percent no touch freight, allowing us to attract drivers who need to move freight from one point to another without heavy lifting.
We also work hard to remove the many inconveniences that come with most truck driving jobs. You don’t have to deal with the hassle of slip seating, allowing you to make your truck your own home. Dick Lavy drivers can set up CB radios, AM/FM radio presets, and personal belongings without worrying about packing up and moving to a new truck every week or two.
You also have the luxury of enjoying home life on the weekends. We make an effort to ensure you work Monday through Friday, returning to home base before the weekend begins. This gives you the work-life balance you want and need.
When it comes to trucking job benefits, Dick Lavy Trucking has some of the best you’ll find. We offer two medical plans and a company-paid $25,000 life insurance policy available the first of the month following sixty days. Dental, vision, short term and long term disability, and critical illness/cancer insurance are available after 6 months of employment.
After one year of employment, you can sign up for our 401(k) program to begin putting money toward retirement. We also offer one week of paid vacation after one year of service, two weeks of vacation after three years, and three weeks after five years of service.
