A Family Tradition
We are a first-generation family business. We treat each of the drivers in our trucking fleet as part of that family, making sure they have the best working conditions possible. As a result, our business is able to keep other businesses operating smoothly, since high work satisfaction among our drivers means great customer service and reliability.
Our fleet includes some of the best trucks on the market today, including Volvo 760 Series & Freightliner Cascadias. Every truck includes diesel engines, air-ride suspension, and double bunks for optimum comfort. Part of our truck fleet management is regular maintenance to ensure our trucks remain in top working condition at all times. We have a team of expert mechanics who check trucks for any problems when they arrive at the yard, as well as providing routine maintenance like oil changes and air conditioning checks.
Our commitment to taking care of our customers makes us a top choice for businesses in need of trucking services. With a family-like atmosphere and a great line of trucks, we ensure every business’s freight gets to its destination on time.
Tracking Trucks
A large part of truck fleet management is tracking. Dick Lavy Trucking uses McLeod Software’s LoadMaster software, which is one of the most advanced fleet tracking solutions available to trucking companies. We use LoadMaster in combination with QUALCOMM’s communication technology to ensure we always have complete oversight of our entire fleet of trucks.
Using the latest technology, we can see where every truck is at all times. This allows us to ensure each of our trucks is operating its routes efficiently. If for some reason a truck needs to be rerouted, we can do so quickly directly from our home office.
Tracking Trailers
With our brand new Champion Series Great Dane Trailers with Fleet Pulse allows us to always know where your load is. This increases efficiency and makes sure there will never be any surprises!
Truck Fleet Management Services
Many industries rely on the services provided by trucking companies. But as the number of deliveries have grown, truck fleet management has only become more complicated. Fleet providers must be able to manage multiple trucks on the road at all times, including full truckloads, less-than truckloads, short hauls, and long-distance hauls.
Dick Lavy Trucking offers truck fleeting to businesses throughout the eastern half of the United States. Our fleets go as far as Texas, Kansas, Florida, Minnesota, and Connecticut, with drivers handling stops to each of those areas and everywhere in between. Our family-owned business has 45 years of experience in the trucking industry and staffs drivers who are both reliable and friendly.
